The Truth About January 6: Download the Comprehensive Final Report by the House Select Committee


The House committee investigating Jan. 6 on Monday recommended criminal charges for former President Donald Trump for his role in the Capitol insurrection and released the initial summary of its final report. The full report is expected to be released on Wednesday.


In its voluminous final report released late Thursday night, the committee said they are aware of \"multiple efforts by President Trump to contact Select Committee witnesses,\" and that the Justice Department is aware of at least one of those circumstances.

The committee's final report, the culmination of its 17-month probe, called on Congress to consider barring Trump from holding further office for leading what it called a \"multi-part conspiracy to overturn the lawful results of the 2020 Presidential election.\"


The House select committee probing the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol released its final report Thursday, concluding the nearly 18-month investigation that resulted in the historic recommendation that former President Donald Trump be criminally prosecuted for his conduct surrounding the insurrection.


The Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes and certain related matters was established by the Irish Government in February 2015 to provide a full account of what happened to vulnerable women and children in Mother and Baby Homes during the period 1922 to 1998. It submitted its final report to the Minister on 30 October 2020.
